Train companies need to ensure that they employ people who show strong levels of professionalism, whilst maintaining the correct safety procedures. Candidates need to be able to show that they have the same qualities desired by the train company. Many TOCs assess candidates with a quick questionnaire comprising 21 questions of different scenarios and dilemmas. For each scenario, you will be provided with up to four responses. These responses are based on different ways at handling the situation; and this will need to be assessed and rated depending on how helpful or unhelpful you think it is at dealing with the overall situation.
