The Birmingham 11+ Test is designed for children who are looking to apply for a place at one of the eight Grammar Schools in the Birmingham area.
The test is designed to assess the skills pupils will have been learning at school in key stage two. The CEM (Durham University) test is utilised by the Grammar schools in Birmingham and consists of four sections: comprehension, verbal reasoning, numerical ability and non-verbal reasoning.

About The Birmingham 11+ Test
In their final year of primary school (Year 6), pupils may take an 11+ assessment in order to ascertain whether or not they are suited to a grammar school.

Any pupil who wishes to apply for one of the following schools will be required to sit the Birmingham 11+ test.
There are 2 exams for the Birmingham 11+ Test.
Each one lasts approximately 45 to 50 minutes.
